GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Chevrolet Malibu a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $16,352.05. Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $2,233.09 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,860.00. The revised settlement satisfied our clients $2,233.09 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $274.86 0r 25%.
Net settlement increase was $2,507.95 or 15.3%
