GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Honda Accord a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $16,183.95. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,028.39 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $18,430.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,028.39 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $465.18 or 57.1%.
Net settlement increase was $2,246.05 or 13.9%
