GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Liberty Mutual Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Altima a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $15,436.44. The Liberty Mutual settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $699.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $16,784.75. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $699.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $274.31 or 23.0%.
Net settlement increase was $1,348.31 or 8.7%
