GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Nissan Rogue a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $18,554.64. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $794.58 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $21,555.07. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $794.58 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,541.06 or 22.4%.
Net settlement increase was $3,000.43 or 16.2%
