GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Nissan Sentra a Total Loss and offered her a settlement of $11,535.06. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $910.07 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $13,800.00. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $910.07 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $828.53 or 49.5%.
Net settlement increase was $2,264.94 or 19.6%
