GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2019 Toyota 4Runner a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $33,915.07. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $796.00 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $38,882.96. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $796.00 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $3,136.76 or 23.2%.
Net settlement increase was $4,967.89 or 14.6%
