GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2016 Toyota Corolla a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $12,409.21. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $678.02 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $14,413.06. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $678.02 liability and returned $1,325.83 to her.
Net settlement increase was $2,003.85 or 16.1%
