GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2017 Toyota RAV4 a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $17,367.55. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $756.35 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $20,256.69. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $756.35 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $1,488.95 or 31.7%.
Net settlement increase was $2,889.14 or 16.6%
