GAP Provider Liability Realignment
Progressive Insurance had deemed our client’s 2018 Toyota RAV4 a Total Loss and offered him a settlement of $25,062.44. The Progressive settlement pass through GAP Provider deductions left our client with a $1,608.48 lagging balance with their lender after the GAP Benefit payment.
We successfully settled the claim for $28,049.38. The revised settlement satisfied our client’s $1,608.48 liability and reduced the GAP Provider liability $716.21 or 15.7%.
Net settlement increase was $2,986.94 or 11.9%
